Chim Tse Oi-wah, 46, pleaded guilty at Eastern Court to obtaining a total of $90 by deception.
The defendant had been working in Dr Kwan Chi-keung's clinic in King's Road, North Point, for 10 months, but lost her job after the incidents. The court heard she had been keen to become the cashier.
But her over-enthusiasm aroused suspicion and she was found out when a colleague stopped a woman who had just paid for her check-up.
Magistrate Yung Yiu-wing accepted the amount involved was small and Chim was remorseful.
