Lee taking cheap shots
ONCE again the Lion of Singapore and the champion of 'New Asian Fundamentalism' is roaring at the so-called West for its lack of moral fibre and liberalism.
Despite the fact that Lee Kuan Yew, enjoyed a university education in the decadent and wanton West he still takes the cheapest of shots at the civilised world at every opportunity.
Once again he overlooks the organised crime in the West spread by his fellow Asians.
He never mentions the selling of Asians into slavery by Asians, the Asian prostitution business and the horrific spread of AIDS in Asia by Asians.
It is so easy to overlook all of these achievements, of course, while looking in a Westerly direction.
Perhaps Mr Lee should look a little closer to home before he spouts his 'Asian Fundamentalism' and stirs up differences along racial and cultural lines.
After all, he will not be around much longer but a lot of us must yet live our lives and hopefully we will be able to live in harmony and prosperity in both the East, West, North and South.
