THE famous flamenco dancer Cristina Hoyos and her dance company will give three performances of Andalusian Paths, at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre next month.
Described as the 'queen of flamenco', Cristina Hoyos started her dancing career when she was very young, and made her debut at 16 at the New York World Fair.
With her long-time dance partner, the legendary Antonio Gades, Cristina danced herself to international fame not only on the stage but in films and television.
To the accompaniment of guitars and song, Cristina will give audiences a thrilling taste of Spain's most famous dance. The group performs at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre from November 17 to 19, at 7.30 pm daily.
Tickets at $350, $260, $180 and $100 are available at all Urbtix outlets (half-price for senior citizens, the disabled and full-time students).
