A BRITISH tourist had his Hong Kong holiday ruined after his right eye was injured by a glass panel in a Quarry Bay department store, a writ said yesterday.

Bernard Swies, 69, filed a writ in the Supreme Court claiming GBP9,197.50 (about HK$112,295) from Jusco Stores after he banged his head on an unmarked glass panel beside the exit doors on September 22 last year. It is alleged he had distorted vision, headaches and pain in his right eye for months.
