For that's when the off-beat Wharf Cable News front man makes his final programme in Hong Kong - and he has been known to go au naturel before.
In a previous job at a station in the US, King introduced an item about a streaker.
'While the film was showing I had just enough time to strip down to my waist before the camera came back on me,' said King during a hectic work day at Wharf's state-of-the-art studios in Tsuen Wan recently.
'It seemed to me that the story called for it. I got in trouble with the station general manager over that. He called me into his office and was talking about the credibility and sanctity of the anchor desk.
'But I had a letter from a lady saying she thought it was hilarious.' Hilarity has been part of the package for King in his 18-month stint at Wharf.
