Concerned

I HASTEN in order to correct an inaccuracy in the Letter from Mr R Chu of Toronto, Canada on the harbour reclamation, which appeared in the Sunday Morning Post on October 22.

I feel embarrassed to be erroneously referred to as the 'Hong Kong Land and Building Advisory Committee chairman', as I am only a member of that committee. The present chairman is the well-known and highly respected Mr H.K. Cheng.

To the best of my knowledge and belief, the letter does accurately reflect the sentiments of the overseas Chinese and former Hong Kong residents (including many who are not Chinese) all over the world and who are very concerned over what is happening to our harbour.
