TWO teenagers who broke into the same two Lan Kwai Fong premises three times and stole cash and goods worth a total of $11,000 were sent to a training centre by a District Court judge.
Deputy Judge Tallentire made the order on Chan Cheuk-hang and Mok Ming-chun after considering their age and the nature of the offence. Chan 19, and Mok 16, admitted three charges of burglary.
Prosecutor Maurice Tracy said the two burglars broke into Club 64 and the Bon Appetit Vietnamese Fast Food Shop in Lan Kwai Fong on three separate occasions between last December and January.
Chan who had previously worked at the Bon Appetit, pleaded guilty to another charge of attempted burglary.
He was arrested on January 12 in the Lan Kwai Fong area during a police operation.
