JIM Furyk shot a six-under-par 65 at The Plantation Course, matching his first-round score at the par-71 Bay Course to take a three-shot lead in the Kapalua International in Maui, Hawaii.
Twenty minutes after Furyk completed his bogey-less round for a two-round total of 130, Davis Love fired a nine-under 64 at the Plantation to stand at 14-under 133 with Russ Cochran, who played the Bay Course at five-under 66.
Five golfers were at 134 and seven were at 135, including Mike Sullivan, who broke the Bay Course record with a nine-under-par 62.
