WHEN was the last time you read the fine print in your insurance policy? You may, like one Hongkong Bank policy holder, be surprised to find the inclusion of a line offering a cash bonus for achieving every golfer's dream. 'We will pay HK$500 if you achieve a 'Hole in One' whilst playing golf on any recognised golf course in the world. You need only to produce your signed/countersigned score card recording the event and payment in full will be made.' Presumably, it's to defray the cost of a round of drinks. But there are exclusion clauses. For instance, if you were a professional, the likelihood of achieving a hole-in-one would be greater, and you might, therefore, be ineligible for a payout.
