JANSHER Khan won a record seventh title at the 1995 men's World Open squash championship in Nicosia yesterday after beating England's Del Harris 15-10, 17-14, 16-17, 15-8 in the final.
Khan, 26, won in 101 minutes to go one better than the six victories he held jointly with namesake and Pakistan compatriot Jahangir Khan.
World number one Michelle Martin of Australia beat compatriot Sarah FitzGerald 3-0 to win the women's championship. Martin came from behind in all three games but prevailed, 9-7, 9-7, 9-7.
