SHANGHAI Chang Xing Real Estate Development Co says the Shanghai World Trade Tower in the Huangpu district of the city will be completed before the end of next year.

It says all 31 storeys in the office block will be finished by the end of 1996 and not 1997 as stated in a recent Sanwa Bank research report on office supply in the city.

Current supply of grade A office space in Shanghai is about 2.15 million square feet, which Sanwa says is five per cent of present stock in Hong Kong. A report in last week's Property Post stated the position incorrectly.
