THE family of a wealthy Yuen Long landowner, fighting for control of his estate, has agreed to wait until the results of medical tests prove if he can run his own affairs. The wife, first son and three daughters of Tang Kin-sun, 88, were in the High Court yesterday, to have the court appoint a committee to handle Mr Tang's business affairs. But the landowner and his second son, Peter Tang Shun-sun, 62, are fighting to keep control. Mr Tang, who suffered a stroke, is house-bound and cared for by a nurse. Both sides of the family live in Canada. Mrs Justice Le Pichon said the court would wait for a brain scan to help decide Mr Tang's competence.
