Voicing dissent . . . legislators Lau Chin-shek and Emily Lau Wai-hing join protesters in Sha Tin to rally against proposals put forward by the China appointed Preliminary Working Committee's legal sub-group to water down the Bill of Rights and reinstate six Draconian laws amended because of the ordinance. The rally, which attracted about 100 people, was organised by a group of the district's Legco, Regco and district board members. Unionist Lee Cheuk-yan and Cheung Hon-chung, from the pro-China Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong also took to the streets. Mr Cheung said he did not worry that his participation in the protest would affect his political future.
