Medicine shop raids

SIX government chemists joined police in raids on nine medicine shops in Aberdeen and Western and seized large quantities of Part 1 poison and cough syrup.

The raids, aimed at triad gangs and teenagers, netted a total of 26 people in connection with suspected blackmail.
