THE Financial Secretary has appointed two bankers and an actuary to three financial services organisations. The chairman of Dah Sing Bank, David Wong, has been appointed a member of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) advisory committee. He replaces Henry Fan, who has become a non-executive director. Mr Wong's appointment is for two years. Stuart Leckie will be a director of the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Co Ltd (HKSCC). Mr Leckie, an actuary from Wyatt, has also been re-appointed to the board of the HKSCC until the day of the 1996 annual general meeting. Regional treasurer of the Bank of America, Anthony Yuen, has been appointed deputy chairman of the arbitration panel established under the Leveraged Foreign Exchange Trading Ordinance. Mr Yuen, already a serving member of the arbitration panel, replaces Chris Pavlou, who has resigned following his recent transfer to Tokyo. Mr Yuen has been appointed deputy chairman of the arbitration panel until December next year.
