CHINESE desktop publishing firm Founder (Hong Kong) will list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange 'very, very soon', a company spokesman says. During a media briefing yesterday, the spokesman said 'the initial public offering (IPO) of new shares would be made very soon'. While he said it was too early to tell how much the company would raise through the IPO, officials of the world's leading Chinese language publishing system were optimistic about a good response to the offer. Founder produces the software used by about 70 per cent of the Chinese electronic publishing industry. About 40 per cent of papers in China, including the China Daily , use Founder.
