CHRISTMAS can be a trying time for mothers with young children - but it can be at least double the trouble for parents who gathered for an early party yesterday.
Members of the Mothers of Multiples Association celebrated with 30 sets of twins and their brothers and sisters at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Central.
Sharon Fieni is the mother of twin girls.
She said: 'The task is more demanding, the challenge is double compared to raising only one kid at a time.' Her daughters Claudia and Alessandra are three-month-old identical twins. Mrs Fieni, who also has a two-year-old boy, said yesterday was only the third time she had taken all three youngsters out together.
'It is hard for me to feed them at the same time and I only have two hands,' she said.
Mrs Fieni said she did not dress her girls identically because they had different characters and would grow up into people with different personalities.
