A MANAGER and a member of his staff will appear in the District Court next month for allegedly assaulting Chief Secretary Anson Chan Fang On-sang's cousin. The finance company manager, Wong Kwai-nam, 30, was also accused of sending a prohibited letter to gynaecologist Dr Anne Fang Hang-sang, criminally intimidating her, and transmitting a false message by telecommunication. On October 6, Wong and a clerk of his Pui Kee Finance Company, Wang Yiu-chung, 24, allegedly assaulted the doctor in a women's toilet near her clinic in Causeway Bay. In Eastern Court, magistrate Yung Yiu-wing allowed the Crown's application to transfer the case to the District Court for plea on January 2 next year. The pair was remanded in custody.
