UNSTOPPABLE Pakistan Association continued their domination of the Hong Kong CMI Sunday League with a resounding 167 runs victory over Optimists at DBS yesterday.
Waseem Imtiaz and Saleem Malik hammered the Optimists bowlers as Pakistan Association totalled a massive 404 all out in 48 overs.
Waseem hit 11 sixes and 17 fours for his 170 runs while Saleem scored 67 runs. Captain Sada Hussain helped out with 43.
Pakistan bowler Mohammed Zubair was on a hat-trick for his first ball, having claimed two successive wickets against Templars last week.
But on his first delivery, Optimists' Stewart Brew was dropped. Brew earned the praise of the Pakistan side as he went on to make 133 before being bowled by Zubair, who claimed four for 57.
Optimists were eventually all out for 237 in 43 overs.
Pakistan Association's Farouq Sheikh said yesterday he believed it was a record-breaking day for his team.
