CHINNEY Investments has reported a 123 per cent rise in profit before extraordinary items to $62.4 million for the six months ended September 30.

  Earnings per share were 15.5 cents, compared with 7.5 cents previously. The company will pay an interim dividend of 2.5 cents a share.
