IT WAS a trip down memory lane for guest-of-honour Dr Fok Ying-tung, when he attended Queen's College Old Boys' Association Secondary School's seventh speech day and the opening ceremony of its language laboratory recently.
Dr Fok, the honorary permanent president of Queen's College Old Boys' Association, recalled his days as a student at the school 50 years ago.
Despite the war and hardship of the period, Dr Fok said, he was able to overcome the difficulties.
He urged the graduates and students to be prepared for the challenges ahead, especially after Hong Kong returns to China in 1997.
Dr Fok also encouraged the students to work hard and achieve their goals.
'This will help you to contribute to your school and society after graduation,' he said.
