ENGLISH Premier League club Manchester City have agreed terms with Norwegian champions Rosenborg for 26-year-old midfield star Kare Ingebrigsten.

 But the deal for the Norwegian international, who has 17 caps, cannot go through until City have received a work visa.

 Rosenborg, one of the stars of Norway's 1-1 draw against England in the World Cup qualifier at Wembley in October, agreed with club officials on Thursday on a transfer fee of GBP500,000.

 City, currently 10th in the league, hope to get a work permit for Rosenberg within the next week.
