SUN Hung Kai Properties has secured approval from the Buildings Department to develop a multi-billion dollar twin-tower development in Kwun Tong Road.
The project will provide a potential floor area of 1.28 million sq ft, comprising a 30-storey industrial-office tower and an 18-storey commercial block above a three-storey podium.
Nan Fung Development has also received Government approval to build a 1.29 million sq ft residential project in Tseung Kwan O.
It will comprise five residential blocks, varying from 39 to 44 storeys, a four-storey podium and one basement.
These two large projects were among 54 plans approved by the Buildings Department last October.
The approved plans included 14 residential or residential-commercial projects, 14 commercial projects, 13 factory and industrial developments, and 13 community services developments.
