THE territory's live music woes continue to stew this weekend as yet another top venue closes its doors to musicians and fans - the Jazz Club.
But don't panic, the closure is temporary and will see the club rejuvenated into a classier, roomier venue ideal for live music punters.
Word has it the often claustrophobic conditions of the audience area during performances is behind the change, which will apparently nearly double floor space by ripping out the old bar.
The club will hold a special 'closure party' on Sunday night as the final gig before the month-long renovation commences.
The jam will feature artists who often frequent the club's stage including Dave Colquhoun, along with various members of both Nogabe and Crash.
Be there about 9pm because there is little else of interest happening this week.
