SOCIALITE Eriko Dimitrovsky is planning an intimate gathering to mark the end of her seven years in Hongkong, P.S. has learned. A mere 50 people will shoehorn themselves into the Grand Salon at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for cocktails and dinner one week from tomorrow, to mark both her birthday and her departure from Hongkong in favour of the bright lights of Honolulu, Hawaii. Many had expected a spectacular blow-out that would bring Hongkong's glitterati out for a night of black-tie entertainment. Instead they will be getting a fairly low-key soiree hosted by her husband, William. By then the couple will have moved into a suite in the Grand Hyatt where they will remain until their departure. Observers are beside themselves wondering who will replace Eriko in the trinity that includes Diane Butler and Cristal Li. Answers on a postcard please.
