TURNER Broadcasting Sales, the advertising arm of Turner Broadcasting Systems (TBS), will utilise integrated marketing to increase its advertising revenue in the region.
By tapping into Turner's vast resources, the company's advertising sales business can be used to the clients' advantage, according to Lynne Kraselsky, vice-president of Turner Sales (Asia-Pacific).
Turner's resources include television networks in Cable News Network (CNN) and TNT Cartoon Network, film companies (Castle Rock Entertainment, New Line Cinema and Turner Pictures Worldwide), the film libraries of MGM, RKO and Warner, sporting teams (basketball's Atlanta Hawks and baseball's Atlanta Braves), publishing companies and the Hanna Barbera animation studios.
By using Turner-related companies for promotions, trade, tailored products, database marketing and licensing and merchandising clients can maximise brand awareness, marketing value and international presence.
Turner's goal is to work as a business partner with clients to build their brands.
'Our goal is to create results and to build a trust-based relationship with clients and advertising agencies,' Ms Kraselsky said.
