THE second paragraph in our article 'Birth rate figure dropping' (Young Post, January 9) states that in 1984, 5,651 fewer babies were born than in 1994. In fact, the reverse is true.
Another sentence states: 'The birth trend here is affected by the age and sex of the population . . .' It should read: 'The birth trend in a territory is affected...'
