WHEN solicitor Daniel Wong Kwok-tung could not find a place to park his shiny red $1 million sports car he decided to put it in the Urban Council's Edinburgh Place car park.

After all, Mr Wong is an Urban Councillor, and allowed to use the car park on official business.

The only trouble was that he left the Honda Acura NSX racer, at the car park for a month. He even left his mini-van there as well.

Now Mr Wong has admitted his mistake and vowed to remove the car immediately.

Mr Wong, who lives in Sha Tin, said he parked his second car there because he failed to find a place for his new racer in Central, where his solicitor's firm is located.

'I do break the rules. I park there in the evening because there is lots of space,' he said. 'I'm sorry.' It is understood that several Urban Councillors were unhappy about Mr Wong's parking practices.
