HONGKONG Telecom will give away 90 air tickets to any destination during the course of it's '001 IDD Get Closer Fiesta' advertising campaign.
During the promotion, which runs until February 14, anyone who registers and makes a 001 International Direct Dial call of more than five minutes can enter the draw.
Three winners will be chosen daily.
The 30-second and 15-second spots were created by the J Walter Thompson agency and cost about $2 million to shoot.
The advertisements feature a young couple moping over the trials of separation as she is in Paris and he is in Hong Kong.
After phoning his girlfriend, the couple are reunited in the French capital as a result of his winning the contest.
The commercial is loosely based on the 1980s Canto pop song Worlds Apart sung by Ruth Tsang and narrated by Winnie Yu.
