TWO legislators have postponed a proposal to change the make-up of the Housing Authority.

Lee Wing-tat, from the Democratic Party, and Bruce Liu Sing-lee, of the Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood, said they wanted to hear more views and suggestions before tabling a private member's bill.

Mr Liu said he would raise a motion debate in the Legislative Council next month on the openness and accountability of the territory's statutory body and its advisory bodies, followed by a series of consultations.

But the two said they would not drop their plan to table the amendment to the Housing Ordinance, adding they aimed to finish the legislating process before the summer recess in July.
