JINHUI Holdings is to run a 2.8 million yuan (about HK$3.75 million) nightclub with karaoke facilities in Zhangzhou, Fujian, through its subsidiaries in China. The 461 sq m nightclub, to be opened on Saturday, is a joint venture between a wholly owned subsidiary of Jinhui and its 60 per cent owned Joint-Venture Zhangzhou International Aluminium Container Co. Meanwhile, Jinhui will also build a commercial complex in Zhangzhou's city centre in co-operation with Joint-Venture Zhangzhou International Aluminium Container. Jinhui will take a 90 per cent holding in the US$15 million project. A site has been bought for the project, which is expected to feature 26-storey buildings with commercial outlets, entertainment facilities and residential flats. Work is scheduled to start this year and take three years to complete.
