I REFER to Mr C.S.T. Bosher's letter (South China Morning Post, December 30) regarding landscaping of the Chinese permanent cemetery at Tseung Kwan O.

The whole cemetery will be built in four phases. The first phase has just been completed, and it is intended that the landscaping would tie in with the completion of each phase.

A master layout plan and a landscaping plan have been submitted and, in addition, the architect in charge of the project is required to provide a visual assessment report.

Regular site inspection will continue to be carried out to view the progress of the development.
