Need to heed sounds of sirens

MY daughter and I were driving in the area of Lan Kwai Fong at the time of the tragedy and we were totally unaware of the terrible events happening there.

We saw a police vehicle caught in the traffic unable to move. More importantly, ambulances were also stuck. My daughter moved over twice to try to allow the ambulances through but each time other traffic immediately filled the gap.

I was shocked to find that ambulances here, even with their sirens sounding, are not given way to by other traffic and allowed full passage. Perhaps if this was the case, valuable time and lives could be saved.
