Officer found unconscious

OFF-DUTY police constable Yung Tak-cheung, 36, was found lying semi-conscious by the road on Fei Ngo Shan late last night. He was believed to have taken an overdose of medicine and was taken to hospital.

Notes were found on him, saying requests for a transfer and holidays had recently been rejected and that his resignation, submitted on January 28, had not been approved. He was said to have left home last night after a dispute with his brother.
