WAYNE Wong Wing-lun stamped his supremacy in local junior tennis by crushing arch rival Jason Sankey 6-1, 6-3 in the boys' under-18 final of the K-Swiss Junior Tennis Championships.

The Wah Yan College student and Jason teamed up to win the doubles event at the expense of Desmond Chan and Michael Wu.

Island School's Jacklyn Fu Yan-ling showed she is the best among the girls with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Tong Ka-po, a highly promising 15-year-old.

Ka-po, who studies at the Jockey Club Ti-I College, made up for the disappointment by lifting the doubles crown with Natalie Banday.

'Wayne, Jason, Jacklyn and Ka-po will be rewarded with direct entries into the Hong Kong Junior Open Championships,' said Janet Hardisty, senior sports executive of the Hong Kong Tennis Association.
