PSYCHIATRIC counselling will be offered to more than 1,300 students and teachers of the Fung Yiu King Secondary School tomorrow following the hill fire disaster.
Surviving teachers Lee Yee-kiu and Wut Pui-yee, and pupils involved were overwhelmed yesterday and received counselling at the scene.
The headmaster of the five-year-old school, Hui Wing-ho, 42, said the two teachers had been badly affected.
Mr Hui, who appeared calm last night, admitted he and his deputy had received psychiatric help at the rescue co-ordination centre.
'The psychiatrist told me I needed to calm myself first,' he said.
'If not, I can't calm down the teachers and students.' Mr Hui said families of the victims would also be offered counselling.
'I want them to understand it was a natural disaster, not a human error,' he said.
