CHRIS Cramer, a BBC news executive for the past 25 years, will join CNN International in April as vice-president and managing editor. Mr Cramer, who had been the head of network news gathering since 1991, helped negotiate the BBC's partnership with ABC News, in addition to several international alliances. Turner International has also signed a two-year deal with Thailand's Army Television Channel 5 to broadcast CNNI news excerpts on the channel.
