Girl, 15, guilty of recruiting virgins

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was yesterday found guilty of recruiting two former schoolmates to sell their virginity to a middle-aged man.

Tang Wai-yan, 15 was found guilty at the District Court of two charges of procurement of a girl under 21 to have unlawful sexual intercourse with a third person.

Judge Davies said he believed the two victims, aged 14 and 15, were 'honest and truthful' witnesses.

But Tang was acquitted of one charge of living off the earnings of prostitution.

She had denied all the charges.

Prosecutor Roderick Murray told the court that in April last year, Tang rang the two victims and asked them to lose their virginity for $20,000.
