DANIEL Lee Chi-wo and Alli Li Yin-yee once again stamped their supremacy among the territory's junior middle distance runners by winning the junior races in the Adidas King of the Road series. Nineteen-year-old Daniel, a star triathlete and cross country runner, covered the 10 kilometres course in 33 minutes and 38 seconds to finish 11th overall in the men's division. He beat Ng Yu-lun by more than a minute for the junior title with Leung Tat-wai, Chan Kuck-lok and Ho Hoi-to filling the minor placings. Alli, 16, was even more outstanding by finishing fourth overall among the female runners, crossing the line in 37:51. She was only beaten by China's Sun Shaoshun, the open category champion, and veterans Winnie Ng Lai-chu and Yuko Gordon, both experienced Hong Kong internationals. Yii Sui-suet, second to Alli in the junior division, also ran a creditable race to place sixth overall with a time of 39:50. Ng Wai-yan was a distant third, more than three minutes away. The other place-getters were Cheng Yuet-ting and Tse Kar-wai.
