Established in 1858, Tyrell's is the oldest family winery in the Hunter Valley. Current production is more than 350,000 cases per annum, of which about 15 per cent is exported.

The winery is run by father and son team Murray and Bruce Tyrell. The Long Flat series produces some of Australia's most popular, value-for-money wines. The name comes from Tyrell's Long Flat Vineyard.

Long Flat Chardonnay Semillon is made with 50 per cent of each varietal. It has pronounced fruit flavours and a clean, crisp finish.

Where To Buy: Direct from the importer, Remy Fine Wines (2523-5904), normally at $71 per bottle or $63 per bottle by the case. This wine is on special offer until March 10 at the equivalent of $54 per bottle if six bottles are purchased or $50.40 per bottle if three cases are bought.
