Two face additional charges

A TOTAL of 15 additional charges including burglary were laid against two men at Eastern Court yesterday.

Hui Yu-kit, 26, a transport worker; Chow Chi-sang, 23, a barman; and Kwan Tse-yin, 33, the owner of a garment factory; were earlier jointly charged with five counts of burglary.

Yesterday, 12 counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary were laid against Hui and Chow. Hui is also facing two counts of burglary.

The alleged offences happened in 20 premises in various parts of the territory between August 6, 1992, and January 5 this year.

Magistrate Mr Michael Hill adjourned the case until February 9 to allow for further inquiries.

They were each granted bail at $30,000 in cash and a similar amount in surety. Mr Hill also ordered them to surrender their travel documents and not to leave Hongkong.
