Rabbi accused of laundering
LOS ANGELES: An ultra-orthodox rabbi and two others were arrested as part of an alleged multi-million-dollar money-laundering ring that involved Hasidic diamond dealers and a network of religious charities.
Abraham Low, 42, a rabbi at the Satmar Hassidim Temple Mogen Abraham, was accused of laundering US$10,000 (HK$77,380) for an agent posing as a drug dealer.
