INSTANT-DICT are pursuing 20-year-old England youth midfielder Justin Walker from English Premier League side Nottingham Forest to bolster their league campaign.
The Dickies are third in the second-stage league standings with eight points from five games - two points behind leaders Happy Valley and one adrift of Eastern.
The Dickies' clash with champions Eastern tomorrow is crucial if they are to enter the season-end play-off against the first-stage champions South China.
'If we beat Eastern tomorrow, we have a chance to lift the second-stage title,' said Instant-Dict executive Ken Ng.
'Then we would ask Forest to loan Walker to replace former England international Neil Webb, who left us before the Lunar New Year holidays.' Webb failed to impress the local fans during his five-week stay with the Dickies. They lost 2-0 to Valley on January 18 and then drew 0-0 with the Caroliners on February 11.
Webb was quoted as saying he would return to the Dickies in early March if he failed to find a team in England.
