The Hong Kong debut of an outstanding Russian soprano who was a sensation at Covent Garden in 1993 for her performance as Tatiana in Eugene Onegin. She is accompanied by the Hong Kong Philharmonic, conducted by Alexander Anissimov, and will perform arias by Puccini, Verdi, Tchaikovsky and Catalini.

A recital by the renowned baritone who has won particular acclaim for his performance of lieder. This evening's programme comprises songs by Schumann and Schubert with David Harper providing the piano accompaniment. This is Baer's first performance in Hong Kong, and a chance to catch up on what audiences at Covent Garden, La Scala and the Vienna Staatsoper have been raving about.

A collaboration between Swedish percussion ensemble Kroumata and one of the world's finest marimba players, performing what they describe as contemporary chamber music. Several of the sextet's demanding pieces have required the development of entirely new percussion instruments, called kroumata in ancient Greek, and they travel with an extraordinary battery of hardware. Keiko Abe is a frequent collaborator and the combination promises to be something special.
