TALK about getting it wrong. Hacks at TV and Entertainment Times have decided it is a huge laugh that ATV (World) reporter Regina DeLuna was crying as she presented the late news recently. They thought it was so funny, they speculated on whether she had been sacked, had a fight with her boyfriend or was blubbering for no reason at all. They then launched a competition asking readers to pick the best reason for her on-screen tears. If they had checked for facts they would have found the tears were caused by a twisted contact lens.
Really. This is the same magazine that criticises TVB (Pearl) for its Citylife entertainment programme, yet merrily publishes the ramblings of Citylife presenter Fiona Carver in an advertisement dressed up as a weekly column.
