WEDDING gowns, 1960s retro, leather and mesh all collide in a startling series of collections at Hongkong Fashion Week's Speciality Show. Nine companies are taking part in the show, which promises to present plenty of ideas to buyers. Adrena's Elegance will unveil a range of silk evening and bridal wear in a palette of off-white, champagne, ivory, pastels, purple and black. The range is accentuated with beading, embroidery, appliques and prints. The label is exported to Japan, Taiwan, and Europe. The 1960s-inspired Ben Lee World Fashion Co's collection of ladies casual co-ordinates will be presented under the Panache label. Fit-and-flare jackets are teamed with bell bottom trousers. Colours include black, metal grey, ivory and off-white. Major markets include Japan, Taiwan, Greece, South Africa, and France. The Future Wedding Gown Factory will present a range of traditional white bridal wear and sophisticated black evening wear. Ruched off-the-shoulder bodices, sweetheart necklines and tiered full skirts in satin, organza, and taffeta are enriched with floral appliques, sequins and beading will be on show. Leather and suede ensembles from Lavish Co will feature vibrant colour blocks of purple, sage, indigo, raven and tequila. The label is available in Hongkong, Japan, the United States and Taiwan. Japanese-inspired silk ensembles in long and loose shapes will come from Mei Chong Development Co, under the With the Wine label. Shades include grey, blue, lilac and purple and the range is available in Europe, the US and Japan. Under the Lazzari label, designed by Zanio Chu, a collection of silk and leather ladies' wear will be presented, featuring quilted jackets silk and leather pants. The label is available in Hongkong, China, Italy, Spain and France. Black leather, lycra and mesh will feature under the Onitsuka label by Onitsuka. The range includes long net overcoats, tight-fitting pullovers with leather patchwork, hooded leather waistcoats, tight pants and shorts. Equally figure-revealing is the Starlink Development's collection of knitted jersey and lycra dresses, all in classic black, which are highlighted with multi-colours, or silver and gold beading. The range is presented under the Peak label, which is exported to the US and Europe. Xin Yi Fashion will present a range of ladies silk ensembles in a body-hugging silhouette and pastel shades, and a men's silk range. The company's labels include J. M. S., Lotas, Amanda and Dennise, and are exported to Southeast Asia, Japan, the US and Europe.
