GRADE B boys performed brilliantly in track events to help Ng Wah College win the overall title at the Inter-School Athletics Championships, Division Three (Kowloon Area 2). They beat CCC Rotary School 208-182 points at the Wan Chai Sports Ground recently. SKH Tsoi Kung Po Secondary School took home the Grade A title with a 104-72 victory over Ng Wah College. The Ng Wah Grade B squad performed particularly well in the sprints, with Lau Chau-kuen winning both the 100 metres (11.65 seconds) and 200m (24.03 sec). Ng Wah boys also beat Maryknoll Fathers School to win the 4 ? 100m relay (46.82 sec). However, CCC Rotary School took out the Grade C title with convincing victories in the long-distance races. Rotary's Lo Wai-lun won the Grade C 800m (2 min 22.98 sec) and 1,500m (5 min 0.15 sec). Teammates Chan Chun-leung and Chow Wang-leong won the gold and silver medals respectively in the Grade B 1,500m event. CCC Rotary School also triumphed in the Grade B and C 4 ? 400m relays with respective winning times of 3 min 52.38 sec and 4 min 4.31 sec. Lai Chack Middle School's long-distance runners also performed particularly well. In Grade B, Lai Ho-ki won the 800m (2 min 13.82 sec) while in Grade A Wong Wing-keung took the 1,500m (4 min 44.04 sec). Meanwhile, Tack Ching Girls' Middle School, with overall points of 164.5, won the girls' championship. Lee Kau Yan Memorial School, 23 points adrift, finished second overall. LST Wong Chung Ming Secondary School was third with 132 points. In the Kowloon Area 1 division, Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School won the boys' overall championships with 254 points. Tang King Po School was second with 190 points and Heep Woh College third with 179 points. Pooi To Middle School beat Heep Woh College by a mere 5.5 points to take the girls' championship. TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College was third.
