Spurned youth's parents 'attacked' ex-girlfriend
THE parents of a spurned teenager slashed his former girlfriend's face, the District Court was told yesterday.
Ng Chun-chun, 18, said she decided to end her romance with Lam Chun-hung, 19, after she began dating the 24-year-old manager of the Mongkok restaurant where she worked.
But her former schoolmate refused to accept her decision, the court heard.
He continued to follow her to work and phoned her during the night. When his attempts to win her back failed, he asked his parents to talk to her.
After finishing their shift at the restaurant on October 10, she and the manager, Leung Ching-wan, were met by Mr Lam and his mother, Au Yeung-mei.
'They wanted to have a few words with me and my boyfriend, so we went to a nearby park and sat on a bench,' Ms Ng said.
