In difficult weather conditions, Tomiko Ibuka was the only other competitor to break 80, recording a 78. There is then a four-stroke gap back to Eleanor Staunton with Barrie Law fourth after an 83. Defending champion Bronwen Morrow could only manage an 87 to lie in 12th place, while Hong Kong international Tomoe Masaki soared to a 92. The tournament moves to the Royal Hong Kong Golf Club today before concluding at Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club tomorrow.
