Temple disowns fortune-tellers

IT has come to my notice that for some time, some Indian fortune-tellers, posing as Sikhs, are circulating in Hongkong, cheating the public out of considerable amounts of money. I, on behalf of the Khalsa Diwan (Sikh Temple) Hongkong, urge the public of Hongkong to beware of these so-called fortune-tellers.

The Sikh religion does not believe in fortune-telling. We have also been told that these people claim to collect money on behalf of charitable Sikh Societies in India, but any such society seeking financial support would contact the Sikh Temple in Hongkong.
